Dogs For Life relies on foster homes to rescue and re-home dogs. We're committed to supporting and training our fosters in order to enhance their rescue experience and to guarantee that each dog is adoptable and adopted.
Why should you foster a dog?
Fostering means that you’re helping to save a dog’s life. And that’s what we’re all about: Life For Dogs When you foster, you’re not only providing a new lease on life for your foster dog, but you’re also making room for another dog at the kill-shelters we rescue from. One more open kennel means one less dog that is at risk of being euthanized.
As a partner with us, you’ll also be of great assistance with adoptive match-making. In your care you’ll learn the little details about your foster dog’s personality which will help us place them in the perfect forever home.
In some cases, dogs rescued from shelters will have symptoms of kennel stress or will be recovering from spay or neutering. Taking care a foster dog allows you to actively participate in their rehabilitation. Witnessing and cultivating the progress and development of your foster dog is priceless. |
